ARRANGEMENT FOR SICK BEDRIDDEN MALE/FEMALE ELDERLY

In West Bengal concept of HOSPICE is not popular. HOSPICE means staying accommodation for terminally ill patients, who have no hope for recovery. Nowadays it is very difficult to maintain sick people in house. Even it is not possible to keep them in hospital or nursing home for long period. So, one type of SHELTERED ACCOMMODATION is needed which has specialized arrangement for keeping them in moderate cost. We have tried to follow the concept. We have started with very few beds. In recent future we will make a complete 20 bedded set up with Emergency room. In present days our features are: sharing room, 24 hrs. care provider, 24 hrs. hot water, 24 hrs. doctor, physiotherapist on call, along with individualized diet. We take the responsibility of further treatment and care, even cremation. We allow even 100% bedridden patients.

We are trying to improve our facilities. You are requested to come and see the present condition. You are requested to follow the steps:

1.       Read all the papers carefully, visit our websites. If it is agreeable, then visit our project (by appointment only); spend few hours with other boarders; take lunch.

2.      Enquire about our services from the spouses (phone numbers available in MEMBERS’ LIST- Assisted Living), who have already sent their relatives.

3.      If you are satisfied, call us. Our team will visit your home to see your relative (whom you want to send) at your cost (e.g if it is in Kolkata cost is approximate Rs. 1300). After visiting, we will be able to tell you what preparation is needed to maintain her.

4.     Then send your relative for short staying for at least 7 days (better 30 days) on daily payment basis (Mandatory). Otherwise we can bring her from your home at your cost.

5.       If she accommodates with the system, then select the Scheme for her. There are so many Schemes. Please go through MEMBER’S TARIFF. We can give you suggestions, if needed.

6.       You may keep your spouse for short period in daily payment basis. It is particularly beneficial when you are going outside for few days. You may send your sick parents for those days only (Short Stay Home Concept). 

Here all are transparent and democratic. You will never be asked or requested to send your spouse. It is your decision. You can ask freely and severally when you face any doubt. We are ready to satisfy your queries. Even after Short Staying for 7 days you may disagree to keep your spouse for life time. Nobody will ask question. Just pay the balance amount and return back.
