To the West of the state of WB, at district of Purulia, a land characterized by woods and hills – a part of Chotonagpur plateau – AYODHYA HILLS is own land of Santals – an utmost tourist attraction since two centuries. Average altitude from the sea level is 200 meter, where the highest peak being Garga Buru at Ayodhya near Matha is 676.6 meter. Distance of Ajodhya Hills from THIKANA SHIMLA is approx. 280 km and from Town Purulia is 42 km.

FEATURES OF OUR TOUR: operated by our professional team; non-commercial operation - accounts will be placed on last day- surplus amount will be refunded, if expense exceeds- it  will be borne by organization; backed by doctor and medical facilities (likely oxygen, ECG, nebulizer, emergency medicines); most of the food will be cooked by our own staffs using high grade materials; purified water for everybody; accommodation at Govt. Lodge- one bed for each person, dormitory type; no walking – total site scene by car; Santal dance with wood fire in moonlight; bonfire with cocktail (Vodka/ Whisky of renowned brand, 2 pegs/head), Lottery among the tourists.

	6.30 am	Meditation session for 20 min. then gossiping

SEATS: strictly 24 senior citizens only

COST: INR 2950 (surplus will be refunded). Members of THIKANA SHIMLA will not get any monetary benefit. Pricing is same to all.

SUPPORT STAFFS: 3 females, 3 males

GUIDE: Mr. Benu Sen, local person, recognized by CADC, M: 7076305030

TRANSPORT:  3 Tata Sumo – 8 persons each, 1 Maruti Eeco – for support staffs.

ACCOMMODATION: At West Bengal Comprehensive Area Development Corporation (CADC), Govt. of West Bengal Ajodhya Hills Project lodge, at hill top, Malabika building, total ground floor, dormitory type. Per head one bed with mosquito net and blanket. No hot water facility. Generator available.

FOOD: Less oil, less spicy but mouth watering food made from high grade food materials will be served. We will try to serve diet for patients (likely diabetic diet etc). You can choice veg/ non veg option at the time of depositing money. No change of option can be entertained within the tour.

BOOKING METHOD:  Members of THIKANA SHIMLA will get priority in booking. As there is a huge craze, one lottery will be held on rest of the seats occupied by the members.

           

            Last date of pencil booking for the THIKANA SHIMLA members:   15^th Nov, 2014

Last date of reaching application of non-member senior citizens: 15^th Dec, 2014. Non- members should apply on plain paper or mail (thikana_shimla@yahoo.co.in) writing his/her communication address with PIN (must), mobile number (must) and email id (if any, your near relative’s id may be given).

Lottery: 21^st December, 2014 at Senior Citizen Picnic (predetermined program, any senior citizen may join. If interested please call. Cost: INR 350).

Last date of sending money by members of THIKANA SHIMLA: 20^th Dec, 2015 (preferably through bank)

Last date of sending money by winners of lottery: 10^th January, 2015 through bank only. (Bank data will only be given to winners)

Cancellation: Only 50 % will be refunded if cancelled on or before 25^th January, 2015. No refund after 25^th Jan 2015. Anybody, who is unable to go, may send any elder of either sex in exchange of him/her. Cancellation money will be considered as surplus money. This money will be divided equally among the tourists.

PICK UP AND DROP FROM KOLKATA: if there are sufficient people, we may arrange car for pick up and drop from one point of Kolkata. This will be levied extra.
